    The New Orleans City Park Improvement Association board meeting takes place in the City Park Board Room in the Administration Building (1 Palm Drive) at 4pm (unless noted otherwise).

  • Little Acorns

    ActivitiesKid Friendly

    A new ‘class’ for children ages 18 months to 4 years old. Join us for storytime, activities, and a healthy snack. Kids won’t want to miss this!
    Where: Under the Enrique Alférez Oak; enter through the Tolmas Visitor Center (5 Victory Avenue)
    When: 3rd Wednesday of each month Price:$3/child; adult chaperone required at no cost

    Pardon the progress! NOMA's getting some work done encircling the museum and part of the road is closed.  Anseman Avenue is now a two-way drive between Dreyfous Drive and Victory Avenue. Dueling Oaks Drive is a one way in the direction of NOMA. Contact the museum for details.

  • Free Tai Chi Class

    Join your friends for free Tai Chi classes at the Peristyle in New Orleans City Park. New Orleans City Park and Ochsner are excited to bring the community yet another way to exercise in the Park. Come ready to move away stress and have some fun. Wear appropriate workout attire, gym shoes, and bring H2O as you’ll work up a sweat! Though the class will be offered rain or shine, should you be curious about a class please call 733-1600.
    Classes are the last Sunday of each month through June 2018.
    Time: 8 am until 8:45 am
    Where: The Peristyle in New Orleans City Park (near the intersection of Dreyfous and Anseman)
    Cost: Free and no reservations are needed
