    The New Leviathan Oriental Fox Trot Orchestra is an American revival orchestra that performs vintage American music popular from the 1890s through the early 1930s. The orchestra pays particular attention to the music of New Orleans, in addition to the well-known compositions of jazz and ragtime composers like Jelly Roll Morton, Fletcher Henderson, and Eubie Blake.     October 6th and 7th: Saturday: 10am to 5pm and Sunday: 10am to 4pm

    The annual Fall Garden Festival is an educational experience for home gardeners and professionals. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 5 to 12 years old. Children under 5 and Friends of City Park enter free. There will be plant and garden product exhibits and sales throughout the garden, a Children's Fun Fest area, educational programs, music, arts & crafts, and more. Programs take place in the Garden Study Center and are free with entrance to the show. Sponsored by the New Orleans Botanical Garden, New Orleans City Park, New Orleans Botanical Garden Foundation and Friends of City Park.  The October Plant Sale will take place inside this event (not at the Pelican Greenhouse).     Pardon the progress! NOMA's getting some work done encircling the museum and part of the road is closed.  Anseman Avenue is now a two-way drive between Dreyfous Drive and Victory Avenue. Dueling Oaks Drive is a one way in the direction of NOMA. Contact the museum for details.
