    Join us for Friends of City Park’s annual membership appreciation party, Friends’ Fest! The evening is an exclusive night in the Carousel Gardens Amusement Park & Storyland for Friends of City Park members.     Where: Under the Enrique Alférez Oak; enter through the Tolmas Visitor Center (5 Victory Avenue)
    When: 3rd Wednesday of each month Price:$3/child; adult chaperone required at no cost

    The annual Fall Garden Festival is an educational experience for home gardeners and professionals. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 5 to 12 years old. Children under 5 and Friends of City Park enter free. There will be plant and garden product exhibits and sales throughout the garden, a Children's Fun Fest area, educational programs, music, arts & crafts, and more. Programs take place in the Garden Study Center and are free with entrance to the show. Sponsored by the New Orleans Botanical Garden, New Orleans City Park, New Orleans Botanical Garden Foundation and Friends of City Park.  The October Plant Sale will take place inside this event (not at the Pelican Greenhouse). Children of all ages enjoy balloon animals by Party Peeple, air-brush face painting by Pirate Ink and musical entertainment by Catalyst Event Solutions.  Proceeds from Ghosts in the Oaks support capital improvements in the Carousel Gardens Amusement Park & Storyland!

    FRIDAY & SATURDAY: 7-10pm General admission, $15/person and $12/person for Friends of City Park members, 6pm Early admission, $20/person

  • Celebration in the Oaks Family Party

    This event takes place in Carousel Gardens. Join us in celebrating the start of the season! This is a party for the whole family and the whole family will have a blast! Tickets for this event tend to sell out before the event. Don't wait to get yours. Only a certain number of tickets will be sold, and once sold out, no tickets will be sold at the door.

    Kids get the royal holiday treatment at their own Celebration in the Oaks Party and – bonus! – mom and dad can enjoy this family experience without lifting a finger. Your little ones will feel like the kings and queens of the ball at this fun-filled party. Star Wars Storm Troopers & Jedis, Frozen characters, a Christmas Tree Stilt Walker, and an Elf Juggler - AND SO MUCH MORE!
