    Join the Madness!  With guests gathered to sample 30 specialty martinis and enjoy delicious cuisine from 25 different New Orleans restaurants, it is a blast waiting to happen!  The event takes place from 8 to 11pm and features exciting raffle prizes, photo booth fun, a DJ to get help you get down on the dance floor and more.  

    Tickets are available to adults 21 years old or over for $50 general admission, $45 for FOCP members or $75 “Before the Madness” that includes reserved seating, VIP bar, and an extra hour of fun from 7pm to 8pm.     Native New Orleanian Paul Sanchez was born in the blue-collar Irish Channel.  Today Paul defies categories and is noted as an actor, songwriter, singer, producer, writer and musician, with 11 solo CDs under his belt.  In January of 2010 Off Beat Magazine awarded him three Best of the Beat Awards:  Songwriter of the Year, Best Song of the Year and Best Folk/Rock Album for "Stew Called New Orleans", his duet with friend and collaborator John Boutté.     Magic in the Moonlight is an al fresco dinner served under the beautifully lit oaks on the grounds of the New Orleans Botanical Garden. This three-course seated dinner will be prepared by Susan Spicer with great musical entertainment by Wendell Brunious and his band. Proceeds from a silent auction and ticket sales will be dedicated to the creation of the Arrival Garden and Conservatory Court at the new entrance to the Botanical Garden.   • Ghosts in the Oaks (night one)

    This family friendly event takes place in the Carousel Gardens Amusement Park and Storyland over on two nights!  October 24th is the second night.  Children of all ages, including the young at heart adults, dress in their Halloween best for unlimited rides, air-brush face painting, live music, arts & crafts, balloon animals, a pumpkin patch, and trick-or-treating!

    Early admission begins at 6pm and gates open at 7pm for general admission. Early admission is offered at $20 per person and general admission is offered at $15 per person.  Children under 36 months are admitted free of charge.  Tickets will be sold for a single night and will be honored only for the night purchased.

    About Artful Palate:
    Café NOMA’s Artful Palate summer cooking series returns in 2015 with seven art-inspired cooking demonstrations led by Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group chefs. NOMA’s exhibition A Louisiana Parlor: Antebellum Taste & Context celebrates the acquisition of a superb rococo revival parlor from the Butler-Greenwood Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana. In honor of the exhibition, the Artful Palate demonstrations will feature Creole-inspired dishes and traditions. Chefs from Café NOMA, Ralph’s on the Park, Red Fish Grill, Brennan’s, Heritage Grill, Napoleon House and café b will lead the demonstrations, along with local guest chefs and purveyors. Artful Palate is free of charge and open on a first come, first served basis.
