    James Rivers is a New Orleans musical treasure. He plays a mixture of rock, progressive jazz, rhythm and blues and gospel; the sort of music that implies something for everybody when it’s played.     Join us as we celebrate the 3rd of July! Bring your chairs & blankets and enjoy patriotic music with The Marine Corps Band on the Goldring/Woldenberg Great Lawn and fireworks at the Peristyle. Concessions, wine and beer will be available for purchase, or you can bring your own picnic – but please, do not stake tents or blankets into the lawn!

    The Happy 3rd of July event runs from 5:30pm to 9pm and is FREE and open to the public.
