    Wanda is known as one of the Crescent City’s premier musical ambassadors. She and her band, “A Taste of New Orleans”, has toured the United States, Australia, Europe, Brazil and Japan, taking her music all over the world. Wanda fuses Blues and Jazz, Gospel and Soul, into a ‘jump on your feet and sing along’ music revival. Rouzan was honored by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival when her Grand Marshall portrait graced the 1999 promotional poster and program book commemorating its 30th anniversary. The weekly Thursdays at Twilight series showcases some of the finest musicians in New Orleans featuring an assortment of music styles.     Series Features Extended Hours, Entertainment, and Free Admission on Wednesday Evenings in October

    The New Orleans Botanical Garden will extend its hours to 8pm every Wednesday
    during the month of October beginning Wednesday, October 5, to celebrate "Evenings
    with Enrique." Throughout the year, each Wednesday is free to Louisiana residents,
    courtesy of The Helis Foundation.

    Each week, "Evenings with Enrique" will feature local musicians playing among the
    collection of 14 sculptures by the famed Mexican-American artist. Guides will be
    available to discuss the life and work of Enrique Alférez under enhanced lighting and
    fire baskets suspended from the branches of the Live Oak tree. Guests are
    invited to purchase mojitos and Latin food provided by local food vendors.

    Free Hours: 10am to 8pm
    Special Programing: 5pm to 8pm
    October 5 Patrice Fisher, harp with Woody’s Fish Tacos
    October 12 Paky Saavedra, guitar with Taceaux Loceaux Food Truck
    October 19 Alexis Guevara, guitar with La Cocinita Food Truck
