Following a smash hit summer event that drew more than 300 participants, Loyola University New Orleans is once again hosting BioBlitz New Orleans City Park. Volunteer scientists, coastal researchers, naturalists, teachers, students, families, and interested residents of all ages are encouraged to join the event. A BioBlitz, also known as a biological inventory or biological census, is an event or intense period of surveying that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area over a short period of time.
