Capital Projects
In 2005 just months before Hurricane Katrina made landfall, City Park’s Board of Governors adopted our award winning Master Plan. The Master Plan calls for $100 million in new projects and improvements for the park. 
New bike and jogging paths, new tennis courts, a splash park, a skate park, a dog park, a great lawn and much more. Our goal is to provide one of the best urban parks in the country and with your help, we can make that a reality!
Your capital gift can be earmarked for any specific project that matches the needs and priorities of the park with your personal interests. Capital gifts can be made in honor or in memory of a family member or to celebrate a special event. Prices can range from five to seven figures.
