The Third Annual Culinary Competition at the Celebration in the Oaks Preview Party 2017:

In an effort to present our guests with the best food our city has to offer, this year's Celebration in the Oaks Preview Party, held Friday, November 17th, will hold the second annual Culinary Competition among all participating restaurants.

Food donors will be asked to serve stand-out dishes, with guest judges tasting all dishes and voting on a variety of categories, such as best holiday dish, most original dish, best table display and most festive server uniforms.

Last year's competition was a huge success, and food vendors are getting excited to present delicious dishes again this year!

Judges:
Grace Birtch, Carolyn Scofield, Joelle Solomon

Judges will get to work 30 minutes prior to the event start time (7pm) and taste small samples of each restaurant's dish. Once all tastings have been completed, judges will vote on each category. Winners will be announced and presented with awards in the middle of the party.

Please let us know if your restaurant would like to be a donor for the Celebration in the Oaks Preview Party and therefore be entered into the Culinary Competition. Please email Julie at JLaCour@nocp.org and place "restaurant" in the subject line of the email.

There is no refund due to rain, power outages, and other unforeseen conditions for this fundraiser. Should the event need to be canceled for any reason, please visit NewOrleansCityPark.com for information. Please keep in mind our events are fundraisers. When possible the event will be rescheduled for the following night. Should that not be possible, no refunds will be given, and we invite ticket holders to consider their ticket as a donation to the Park.
