NOLA City Bark Events

VOLUNTEERS
To keep the dog bark looking its best, NOLA City Bark’s volunteer board hosts both events to raise funds and work days to tackle projects that the normal maintenance team is not able to do.  We depend on our permit holders to volunteer to help accomplish these tasks. Please let us know if you are interested in helping by emailing, info@nolacitybark.org and indicate if you prefer work days at the park or volunteering at events such as 101 Donations, Anniversary Celebration or our holiday costume contest and we will contact you at the appropriate time.

Howliday Market & Paw Parade

Join us for NOLA City Barks inaugural “Howliday Market & Paw Parade” to be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 (rain date, Sunday the 15th) on New Orleans City Park’s Great Lawn at 6 Victory Drive - a first time ever! The time is 1 pm -5 pm.

There will be holiday gifts, arts, crafts and pet products. Santa will be there for special photos. There will be a costume contest judged by local celebrities and a parade led by representatives from several of New Orleans Mardi Gras walking groups. Music, raffle items, food and, of course, rescue dogs will be in attendance.

2020 "101 Donations"

Every other year, NOLA City Bark host a fundraiser “101 Donations” to raise money for capital improvements and major repairs at the dog park.  In the past, the lighting, irrigation systems, major drainage, ground repair, small dog park shelter and a walkway are some of the projects that have been funded strictly by “101 Donations.”
