The BASS categories will follow the same rules as in past rodeos. See our Registration Packet for rules.

Junior Anglers is a category just for those 12 years and under. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places to the 3 kids who catch the single heaviest bream or cichlid.

Rio Grand Roundup is a team event. Team may consist of 1-10 members. The three teams who bring in the heaviest stringers of Rio Grande cichlids will be given an award.
Because of the potential difficulty in keeping alive large volumes of cichlids, fish in the Rio Grande Roundup category do not have to be alive when brought to the Weighmaster.

Champion’s Challenge will return again by popular request. This event is only for past winners of the BASS fishing category (baitcasting, fly or spinning). Single award will be given to the biggest bass caught.
