AMUSEMENTS

  • Ride Operator (multiple positions available)
    $9.00/hr., intermittent- Saturdays and Sundays, 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Operates amusement rides, collects tickets from patrons. Must be 17 years old or over. Outside work required.

Applicant Requirement Information

In order to be considered for employment with New Orleans City Park Improvement Association, the following requirements must be met.

  1. All employees hired after November 18, 1996 will be required to take a urine drug test within the first ninety (90) days of employment. Refusal to submit to a urine test shall constitute withdrawal of your application for employment and/or termination of employment.
  2. Effective January 1, 2002, all qualified applicants (upon request) will be required to submit information regarding previous/current employers in order to verify references before an offer of employment can be extended. Failure to comply with this request will disqualify the applicant for consideration of employment.
  3. Effective January 1, 2002, all qualified applicants (upon request) will be required to submit authorization for a criminal background check before an offer of employment can be extended. Failure to comply with this request will disqualify the applicant for consideration of employment.
  4. U.S. law requires that if hired, you must furnish appropriate documentation establishing identity and employment eligibility within 72 hours of hire date. Failure to provide this information will cause your employment with NOCPIA to be terminated. A list of acceptable documents can be provided upon request.
