For over a century New Orleanians have picnicked under the graceful limbs of City Park's ancient oaks. Today, picnic planners may choose from Popp Fountain, the Peristyle, Marconi Meadow and five picnic shelters for events ranging from 50 to 50,000 guests.
Leave the charcoal at home! Allow City Park Catering to prepare a Cajun Fais-Do-Do with jambalaya and freshly boiled crawfish or an All American barbecue of grilled ribs, chicken and burgers. Staff can also coordinate rentals of additional party items including tents, tables, chairs, children's play equipment, dunking booths and snowball stands.
