NOTICE
The New Orleans City Park Improvement Association is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify parties who are interested in Contributing Capital and/or Services and Participating in the Development, Operation and Management of the golf complex at City Park in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Parties interested in receiving the RFP packet may request the packet in writing from the New Orleans City park Improvement Association, 1 Palm Drive, New Orleans. Louisiana 70124, ATTN: Robert W. Becker, CEO. The packet may also be picked up at the temporary offices of City Park Improvement Association, on Victory Drive in City Park. Proposals must be received no later than 2:00p.m. Thursday, February 11th, 2010. A pre-proposal meeting will be held at the Pavilion of the Two Sisters at New Orleans City Park on 12 Victory Drive in New Orleans, Louisiana on Thursday January 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. All inquiries regarding the RFP should be submitted in writing to Robert W. Professional Services to Complete the City Park Festival and Recreation
Complex
City Park Improvement Association
The City Park Improvement Association seeks proposals to obtain an
experienced and qualified firm(s), organization or corporation for Professional
Services to complete programming, prepare a schematic plan, prepare
development and construction drawings, supervise the bidding process, and
provide project construction management services for the City Park Festival and
Recreation Complex.
Proposals are requested from qualified firms, organizations or corporations that
offer a full complement of the required technical services, along with a team of
consultants of required disciplines, including landscape architects, architects, and
engineers. The selected firm will be assigned to be project based on the
strengths of the firm’s proposals.
1. Services Needed: The services required by this proposal include the
preparation of a sketch plan for the project; the development of a phasing plan;
the creation of design development drawings; the preparation of construction
drawings and bidding specifications; and construction management for the
project.
2. Additional Information: Interested parties are to obtain more detailed
information regarding instructions, submittal requirements, Disadvantaged
Business Enterprise Program provisions, selection criteria used in evaluating

3. Submittal Deadline: The City Park Improvement Association must receive
proposals not later than 4:30 p.m. CST, on Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Late
proposals will not be considered.
