Help Restore the Park: Sponsor a Tree!
Hurricane Katrina devastated City Park and killed over 2,000 trees. You can help replenish the urban forest by sponsoring a tree. The tree type will vary depending on the needs of the park, but trees include oaks, magnolias, bald cypress, pines and palms. The park makes the ultimate decision on the location and type of tree. 
Each tree costs $750. In return for your donation, you’ll receive:
- A tree planted in the park
- Maintenance of your tree for one year, including watering
- Recognition on a donor wall in the Casino Building
- A tax deduction as allowed by law

The Process:
- Send payment for your tree.
- You will receive a thank you letter that can also be used for tax purposes
- We purchase trees after receiving several orders and normally plant between the months of November and March
- After you tree is planted, we will send you a map depicting the location of your tree with its GPS coordinates. A temporary tag will be placed on your tree which will remain for approximately six months. The letter will also include a form for you to fill out to ensure we list your information correctly on the recognition wall.
Help Restore the Park: Sponsor a Bench!
City Park is a mile wide and three miles, which means we have a lot of grass to walk through, but not nearly as many places to 
rest our legs. The Park has two different style benches that can be seen throughout our 1,300 acres, a concrete Works Progress Administration era bench and a newer steel model.
Sponsorship of a WPA bench is $2500. Sponsorship of one of the newer benches is $5000.
Both come with a 4x8 inch plaque that 
is mounted in front of the bench. The Park will try our best to match our sitting needs with where you might like a bench placed. Help us give the patrons of City Park a place to rest their weary legs.

Celebration in the Oaks
Celebration in the Oaks, City Park’s annual holiday celebration, offers sponsorship opportunities ranging from $500 to $75,000. This event runs from Thanksgiving to New Year’s and attracts more than 500,000 visitors to the park each year. Depending on 
the level of your sponsorship, you or your company will be recognized in printed materials, the Celebration in the Oaks website, in park publicity, on billboards and other signage located throughout the Park. Celebration in the Oaks is anxious and willing to structure any underwriting opportunities or options that would be in the best interest of both the event and the underwriter.

One of a Kind Gifts
Donors have made a variety of gifts for unique projects within the park. You can sponsor a garden or adopt an area of the park. You can sponsor educational and environmental 
exhibits or new displays in our gardens and nature trails. Other examples include sponsorship of drinking fountains, exhibits within Storyland, or a new ride in the Amusement Park. Prices range from five to seven figures.
