Plano Demonstration Garden

At the Garden's far western end is the Demonstration Garden that consists of seasonal displays of vegetables surrounded by fruit trees, interplanted with beds of annuals, perennials, roses, and vines. This garden debuted in the spring of 2003 with a display commemorating the bicentennial of the Louisiana Purchase, showcasing popular plants of Napoleon's Malmaison, Jefferson's Monticello, and the City of New Orleans from the era.
