Volunteer with City Park Mow-Rons

They could have called themselves 'the folks who come mow and clean up the park on Saturday mornings" but the Mow-Rons is so much more fun. Add their tag line of Weeding by Example and how could you not want to join in the fun?
This group led the way in our recovery from Hurricane Katrina by maintaining the front entrance to our park. They now attack special needs in the park and stand as a great resource of volunteer labor that readily offers their service when needed. Contact Scott Discon, the President of the Mow-Rons to learn of upcoming service days or to be added to their volunteer roster.
