Volunteer on Super Saturdays
One Saturday each month- usually the first Saturday- volunteers are invited to meet in front of Storyland on Victory Drive at 9:00 a.m. Work assignments and tools will be handed out at that time and volunteers will work until 12:00 noon.
Work may include pruning, raking, cutting grass, mulching, and planting. Please dress appropriately for the season and bring any food and drink you wish to consume. we will provide all tools necessary for the chosen task.
Volunteers are encouraged to dress appropriately (no open-toed sandals!), wear a hat, and apply sunscreen 
and insect repellant.
The work of volunteers is always appreciated and even more so today as the park's staff has been reduced drastically in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and state budget cuts. We simply can't maintain the park without your help!

Super Saturday groups meet in front of Storyland on Victory Ave.
The Volunteer Office is located on Harrison Avenue.
