Planned Giving - New Orleans City Park

Planned Giving

By including City Park Conservancy in your will or estate plan, you are ensuring the future of New Orleans’ 1,300 acres of greenspace and oasis for future generations.

The first one hundred acres, that would one day become 1,300 acres, of New Orleans City Park were left to the City of New Orleans in a will; and we are forever grateful. Just like that first gift to City Park, your charitable gift is noble and most appreciated.

As you consider making a legacy gift to City Park Conservancy, remember that we are here to help you fulfill your charitable goals. By including the Park in your will, you will help care for City Park into the future.

There are several ways you can support City Park Conservancy through planned gifts, including:

  • Beneficiary Designations from Life Insurance or Retirement Plans
  • Bequests
  • Charitable Gift Annuities
  • Charitable Lead Trusts
  • Charitable Remainder Trusts
  • Gifts from Retirement Plan Accounts

To learn more about leaving a legacy and becoming a part of City Park Legacy, please email us at development@nocp.org. All requests for information will remain confidential.

Already made a commitment? Please submit the CityParkLegacyInfo_ CPCform.

Disclaimer: City Park Conservancy does not provide legal or tax advice. You should consult with your attorney or tax advisor to determine the benefits and risks of any planned gift.

Parks are still suffering from this idea that they are fully supported with taxpayer dollars. That's just not the case.
