2014 Photo Contest

The Spirit of City Park

City Park is delighted to announce the winning photographs in its Spirit of City Park 2014 Photo Contest.

Winners will be given their prizes Monday June 23, 2014 at 6:30pm at Morning Call. Everyone is invited to come and see their photos printed. The public is also invited to drop by the Administration Office to view a book with many of the photo submissions. The Administration Office is open Monday -Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.

A HUGE thanks to everyone who participated. There were so many great photos it was difficult to pick the winners.

A SPECIAL thanks to The Roosevelt Hotel and The Fountain Lounge for supplying the prize for the Best Overall Photo.

As we celebrate 160 years in 2014 , New Orleans City Park invited photographers to enter its 2014 Photo Contest! Looking for striking images that capture The Spirit of City Park, we were thrilled to get over 470 entries! Photos submitted were taken between April 1, 2014 and May 31, 2014. There were six categories: Art/Architecture, Flowers and Plants, Animals, People in the Park, Trees, and Recreation/Sports. This is the first time the Park has held a photo contest and we plan on having another because of the wonderful response from our City Park family. We loved seeing the Park through your eyes.
