An Event in the Garden

An art exhibition and sale of original works created by artists “in response” to the natural landscape of the Botanical Garden and its surrounding Park.  Co-chaired by Pam Bryan, Reagan Charleston, Beverly Matheney, and Terrance Osborne, the event will showcase artists representing a broad spectrum of artistic interpretation from representational "plein air" sytle works to abstract paintings, photography, sculpture and more. 

Curated by Pam Bryan of Octavia Gallery and Lisa Rotondo-McCord of the New Orleans Museum of Art.

10 am to 5 pm

Admission to the exhibition is free with paid admission to the Botanical Garden.  All artwork, except those sold at the live auction on April 5th, will be available for sale at fixed prices.

The New Orleans Botanical Garden

The Celebration Reception, Sale, and Auction on April 5th will feature music, hors d’oeuvres and an "artful" cocktail by Dickie Brennan and Company.  

All artwork will be for sale at fixed prices. Selected works will be sold at live auction.  


Presenting Sponsor: $10,000  - Twenty (20) event tickets, reserved seating, recognition in program and all media, 4 season passes to the 2019 Twilight Concert Series and use of the Outdoor Kitchen for one function (Based on availability. Catering not included)    

Sky: $5,000 - Ten (10) event tickets, reserved seating, recognition in program, social media acknowledgement, and one time use of the Garden Study Center for a function. (Based on availability.  Catering not included)

Light: $2,500 - Six (6) event tickets & recognition in program

Flora: $1000 - Four (4) event tickets & recognition in program

Celebration Reception: - $50  - One ticket  -- $35 for ages 35 and under

Proceeds from this event will support programming for the Botanical Garden and the upcoming Outdoor Teaching Kitchen that will include educational classes, cooking demonstrations, and workshops.

The City Park/Pepsi Tennis Center has 16 hard and 10 clay courts, and a clubhouse with a pro shop, restrooms, showers, and a meeting room.
