  • Evenings with Enrique - Patrice Fisher and Javier Olondo

    Join us every Wednesday night in October for our hit series, "Evenings with Enrique" in The Helis Foundation Enrique Alférez Sculpture Garden. Each week, "Evenings with Enrique" will feature local musicians playing among the collection of sculptures by the famed Mexican-American artist. Visitors to the garden will be able to view the work of Enrique Alférez under enhanced lighting and fire baskets suspended from the branches of the Live Oak tree.  This week features Patrice Fisher, harpist from New Orleans, and Javier Olondo, guitarist from Cuba.  Latin food will be available from La Cocinita food truck.  Mojitos, wine and water are available for purchase

    New this October:  Chef Pat White of Karibu Kitchen will be cooking up treats in the wood-burning oven in the New Orleans Botanical Gardens’ recently opened "Kitchen in the Garden".  

    Chairs are encouraged. No outside food or drink please.  Enter through the Oscar J. Tolmas Center, 5 Victory Avenue.

  • Thursdays at Twilight - Panorama Spooktacular Show for Halloween

    “Panorama” has been making music locally since the mid-1990s. They will perform Jewish Klezmer, Creole music from the Caribbean, and music from Louis Armstrong, and other New Orleans artists.  Be sure to wear your Halloween costume!

  • Celebration in the Oaks Preview Party (21+)

    One of the premier parties of the holiday season in New Orleans, this dazzling soiree kicks off the annual lights display. Guests get the first glimpse of the lights and are given exclusive access to the Botanical Garden and Train Route. Enjoy food and spirits from over 30 restaurants while dancing to live music.

    -Holiday cocktail attire required (no jeans) You will be turned away at the door if you arrive not in at least cocktail attire.
    -No one under 21 years old will be admitted.
    -All sales are final – no refunds or rain checks are given.
